300 hp. Am I getting a good deal?

The guy I bought my ej1 from has an integra with a b18 motor, b16 dohc vtec head, and turbo. He offered to give me a ride in it and let me see it on the dyno to prove that it pulls 300 hp. He is asking $2000 for the entire setup, and another $300 to drop it in my car. Am I getting a good deal?

I'll try to get pictures later on but it's about 40 minutes away from me. I'll add, however, that the engine is spotless. Just picture a show car's engine. Clean and Freshly painted.

As far as miles, i'll find out. But please feel free to give me your opinions. I think I'm getting a good deal but I'm a newbie.

It depends, find out why he is selling it, because it might be a cheap ebay turbo kit, which you have to watch out on some have had great luck others...not so much, bid he break it in properly, has he done proper maintenance on it...

those are the kinds of things to ask. if you hear what he has to say, believe him and feel comfortable with the prie he is asking then go for it. otherwise walk away.

I will have a talk with him. but i have spend some time at his shop and the engine has been his personal project and seems like he has put a lot of work into along with the rest of his car. His reason for selling this setup was he wanted to do a different swap. K-Series I think he said.

Depedning on the company who makes the parts, miles on everything, how its been treated and a few other things if those things check out right then yes its a good deal.
ALso is he giving you an ecu to run the engine with or just the motor. Is he gonna re tune it if for some reason it needs to be.
