302 Swap into celica

Well guys...my dad and I have just decided that our winter project is goin to be puttin a 302 into my 1982 celica...should be pretty quick by time where done....should be gettin pics whenever we start....
im already goin to do it but i just want to hear what other ppl have to say bout it....

A ford 302 or a Chevy? Owning a 69 Z-28 myself, I have to say that the Chevy 302 is awesome, however it will cost you more cash then the Ford 302. However I am sure you are going to find more Ford 5.0 302's more then Chevys. If you find a Chevy, jump on it, unlike the Ford, the Chevy puts out more torque. and if your going the Ford way, TRY to get a Boss 302 motor. A Boss motor would run a little less then a Chevy 302, but it can spin the RPM;s pretty damn high.

yea i was "hopeing" to find a chevy 302 but i have found only 1..and that was just 600 for the motor...i was like dam i still need a tranny...got the rear end for it so i don tneed to worry bout that..but most likely ill end up gettin a ford 302 just watever flows in my money direction
