4 Point Harness

Im installing a 4 Point Corbeau Racing Harness. mounting the top end in the trunk was to far. so i mounted them to the seat bracket that are mounted to the floor. the stock seat buckle is wired and i cant undo the wiring unless i cut it.

Question is...If i cut the wires on the stock buckle will it affect the SRS system?

Nope, it only affects the light on your dash that says you aren't wearing your seat belt. Trust me, you won't miss it, lol. Cut away!

nah the seat belt doesnt affect the srs system. but. bolt them both the back seat stock buckles.... Those bolts are very strong.. Bolt one to the bottom of the seat and the other to the side where the seat swivels up and down.. Assuming your car is gutted.

Save the buckle end, stick something metal inside of it to keep the sensor/button pushed in, throw it under the seat and then you won't even get an SRS light

I figured on saving the stock buckle jsut incase Jezek, glad you feel teh same. so ill hold on to it for one of those "Just incase" problems.

But OC makes a very good point, it stopped me from installing harnesses until I get my rollbar.
