450cc DSM injectors questions.

I will be boosting my 96 civic ex d16y8 within a few weeks and the last thing i need are injectors..i planned on using 450cc dsm injectors..duh, anyhow...i have been reading around and i just want to make sure i get this right i dont quite understand exactly what i need to do to get the injectors to work with my car let me know if this sounds right.

1. I need to head to radio shack and buy 10hm resistors and solder them into the wires(yellow)?
2. Need Different injector clips from any car that use's the 450cc injectors?
3. anything else?

You need the injectors, obd1 resistor box (there all over honda tech) i think the radio shack ones work too not positive though, and also you need dsm obd1 injector clips, search ebay and honda-tech, youll easily find them

1.) yup radioshack. part # 271-0132
2.) you can modify your injectors to make it fit, or you can buy new clips.

i meant clips not injectors lol dont modify your injectors

You can actually make the honda clips work if you take a dremel to the dsm injector and grind down the little bump in the middle.

the resistors go on the yellow with black stripe. The radio shack resistors work just fine on that setup

im almost sure any obd1 clip will work. not just dsm. i know honda obd1 works cuz thats what i have.

i didnt even know about the radio shack resistors, i was going to just find a dsm resistor box...how much are those resistors from radioshack? anyone know??? i may just try to use my stock SI clips and pick up some radioshack resistors...sorry to thread jack, atleast im staying on topic though :

The resistors are 5-6 buck for all four. just make sure that you seal them up good moisture will eat away at your connectors, pick up some shrink tubing when you get the resistors
