My friend bought a real piece of junk 4th gen civic hatchback.
It's an 89, it's got a D15A something, and I'm guessing it's a DX.
That's just about all I know as far as what it's got.
The previous owner did some interesting things, for example hardwiring the radiator fan to a light switch inside the car, and installing some halo headlights, but wiring them himself.. Under the hood is quite a mess of stereo wire turned power wire..
The issue is that I can't get the heater to work. I replaced the blower motor and resistor, but I can't get power to the stupid blower motor (when I say stupid it's because I'm frustrated, not because the motor in question is special needs).
The battery light on the dash flickers from time to time when the car is on, so I did some looking around at the under-the-hood fusebox. The two main white plugs inside the box were corroded junk, so I cut some off a wire harness from the junkyard and replaced them. The battery light is gone now, but I still have no power to the blower motor.
I've checked all the fuses, and they're all good and the correct amp-age.
Input would be appreciated! Thanks.
