5th Gen. MODS would like suggestions willing to pay 1000-1500

So i have a honda civic DX coupe 95 1.5L D15B7 (automatic) runs on synthetic oil 5w 30 with 61,000 miles on it i am wondering what i should do aside from swapping the motor and tranny or an air intake. im looking to spend 1,000$-1500$ i can do most work myself and work at an auto store getting parts wont be the problem. just need the help with what parts would be the best also looking to get bout 20-50 more hp outta it any suggestions would be the greatest thanks!

Flame stickers, stick on vents , ebay coilover sleeves , neon lights .

I would seriously look into a swap. Also manual conversion. Do the swaps and sell the d15 and recover some money.

Anyways, most people on here are going to tell you that an automatic d15 isn't worth modifying. Definitely not with 1500 bucks. So a swap would be in order if you're in it for performance. I would recommend a b series swap. There are many. Look into an ls swap, ls vtec, etc. Gonna require some research.

Short answer, no amount of bolt ons on a d15 will yield you your desired horsepower. The motor in your car was designed for fuel economy and reliability.
