6th gen power lock remote

today i found my brothers old stock honda power locks remote. he doesnt use it anymore because he has an aftermarket alarm and cd player so he couldnt use the power locks..anyways he has a 97 ex and i was wondering if anyone knew how to reprogram these remotes so i can use it on my 99 ex. is this possible to do? when i just bought my car recently, the guy didnt have the remote

Im not 100% but it should say in the manual for the car.

EDIT: Does explain how in the manual.......but here it is.

1. Insert the key
2. Turn to "on" position, position II
(then within 10 secs.)
3. Press and hold the valet switch on the radio for at least 5 secs. After that time you will hear the doors unlock. (switch is located between the am/fm and CD buttons, just a small bar)
(then within 10 secs.)
4. Press a transmitter button, you should again hear the doors unlock.
5. Turn the ignition off, get out of the car and test.
6. You're done

hey thats helps alot, but i dont have to stock cd player so i dont have a valet switch...now what??
