7" Touch Screen TFT Monitor

Hey guys,

Maybe someone can lead me in right direction. What I am wanting to do is fit a 7" Touch Screen TFT Monitor into Double din on civic.Not only this but what im wanting to do in the lower part is gut a laptop and put internals behind dash hooked to this and to the ecu for data logging purposes. What im wondering in order to use the Touch Screen part do you have to get a touch screen laptop or would a regular laptop work? Tunning purposes and also can play as much music and what not on it as i want

you dont need a laptop screen just get a lilliput touch screen off ebay and find a broken laptop on craigslist and rip off the screen and hide the internals. Its called a car pc there are a few on here with them. without a touchscreen you wouldnt be able to do anything with it without a mouse and that is dumb haha. a regular pc will work as the touchscreen just uses a usb port and works with the pc and tells it where on the screen you are clicking
