my ex had one that she paid too much for, trans went at 170k otherwise its a great car (auto)

It was on '03 EX fully loaded and Auto tranny. Bought it with 19k miles in 2008. Last I saw it it was at 70k and was running just as good as day one. Looked good as new underneath. Also it averaged 37mpg and I broke 40mpg several times on long trips.

Why haven't I seen it since then? My ex wife took it lol. I hope it DOES turn into an issue lol.

Had it for 3 years.. bought it in the Summer of 2005 and sold it Spring 2008.

there going to base that assumption on miniscule stuff like LCA bushings and things that inevitably waer over time thats completely ridiculous.

Some manual-transmission drivers experienced the shifter popping out of second or fifth gear, a malady that usually required a rebuild.

No s**t shirlock.

2nd gear in my car went. It was so bad to the point where it wouldn't even stay in even with me holding it in and pulling on the shifter with a good amount of strength. Does that mean 6th gen civics suck too?

the review on the explorer isnt entire accurate either, the older ones were the #1 trade in, i cant imagine the 02-05's have lost that much value that they are being clunkered rather than a regular sale.
