89 civic. sometimes does a rubbing noise

it makes a rubbing noise inside the speedometer sometimes.. and sometimes it does it when i hit over 50 mph.. what could i do to stop it from happening again.?

Check your speedometer cable.

Might also be the speedometer itself, so spin the speed pulser to see whether it makes noise.
