90 Civic DX swap.

I'm somewhat new to cars in general I have always been into bikes. A friend of mine has me interested in my car quite a bit more now and I have been doing some research. I'm not planning on racing but I would like to fix up my car a bit, add some power and make it look nice, something I can work on with friends and be proud of.

I have a few questions.

1) Any opinion on a low-mid level pricetag for a a decent amount of HP/Torque? I see that B18B&B18C are good swaps for the money. Also, seeing as it is my first swap would that be the best option for ease of use? I don't want to take on too much off the bat.

2) As far as finding what I am looking for, would some u-pull-it place be the best option or something online?

3) Any other recommendations for someone relatively new looking for a bit of aesthetics/power to change up? Everything is still pretty much stock I believe.

Thanks for taking a look. =)

You can add a turbo kit to the current motor,or swap for b16,,b18,,b20,,h22 or a k24 being the fastest, look them up on the search feature or google them or go on ebay and call shops that do this type of work .you gotta learn about these motors and transmissions and see what you like and what you can afford.and how fast you wanna go and reliable at that .the power you put in a motor it Will give at some point tryna race all all the time.but look this stuff up youll find some neat info that youll like. Look at b18 swaps .its a good motor junk yards, online stores .just look at what you wanna spend .you can buy brand new or get a used one in desent shape or one you need to rebuild for over $1,000 or more.and thats added to what you paid for the motor and tranny.but look it up theres more than what i can tell you.
