Hello all I have a 90 ef civic hb ac compressor won't kick in ac worked great when I first bought it last summer. Then I blew engine1.5 so I swapped it out with a d16z6needless to say when I put it back together the ac didn't work. I have noticed the ac button does not have the light on.

I have a power proble so when I have Checked the relays I have noticed that I have a ground that flashes on the proble it does it on the black and yellow wire I traced it out up to under dash but that's how far I have gotten with it.

With that being said it's Not the relays I can't find a wiring diagram that show where the wires from the ac button go. So if anyone can let me know I would be very appreciated.

Oh I may mention that a while back I bought the the cig lighter from a junk yard when I plugged it the lighter it blew a fuse swapped the fuse out and left the connection disconnected

Download your service manual.

You mention that the A/C button light does not turn on, but some more basic information is needed.

When you press the A/C button, do the radiator and condenser fans run? Does the compressor clutch engage?

The green light doesn't come on but then I press the button I hear the engine change idle but the compressor doesn't kick on when I get the home I will check the switch again I see that the yellow and black wire should have voltage I did install a ign switch so I will check that as well

The button light not turning on is possibly inconsequential (bad bulb), as you can see from the circuit diagram.
