90 integra LS

Ok.... Im new here and as soon as i get my camera back (like tomarrow) ill post my pics... I just have a quick question, I just recently bought a 90 integra LS for 300 bucks the body is clean as hell and the guy said it runs.. It had no distributer so i went to a junk yard and got one still no luck the car only has 119000 miles and the inside of the engine is clean as hell it doesen't make any messed up noises when i crank it its not getting fuel i think because i undid the bleed valve on the fuel filter and i doesen't pump any fuel.... The car sat in the dudes driveway for 2 years would this make the fuel pump lock up?? or maby the fuel lines??? Also instead of fixing this car should i just stick the b series motor in my 95 civic? Is that possible? I will post some pics tomarrow for sure so you guys can give me your oppinions

That Acura is the car i bought for 300 buck... so you think i should get that acura running? Or hock the motor outta it and put it in my civic?

Thanx... So far on the civic i have Headers,intake,exhaust,strutbar,no cat,2.5 inch piping all the way back,and a puter, Im am saving money right now for rims and springs..... but i might go blow some money for a new fuel pump and some headers for that acura... Oh yeah i need to get it registered too....lol

If the Integra has been sitting for two years, the gas in it is no longer gas. It's varnish now. Even if it hasn't totally crusted up the fuel system all the light fractions are long gone and the stuff isn't gonna' burn. It's a good lookin' ride. probably just needs to get rid of all the "lot-rot".

just go to autozone or some car parts store, they have some crap to put in nasty gas. Try this stuff turtle wax makes called back to black on the molding, cause that b***h is crazy faded.

you cant swap the teg motor in the civic, legally anyway. it would be a b***h too, messing with the obd is a pain in the ass. sounds like you have a sick motor, id have a qualified mechanic give it a full rundown so you know exactly waht you need to fix before you go replacing parts. you got a good deal tho, 300 bucks is nice.

Thanx For the Advice Ive read a lot of postes around here from you And you know what your talking about!! So ill just stick with the D motor... Maby i would benefit putting a 1.6 in it?? Maby turbo charged? What do you think?

the bitching thing about living in iowa is that i don't hafta smog my car, Since those pics ive painted the rims black and i worked over the tail lights i will post some new pics tommarow when that big glowing ball goes back up into the sky

Yeah i just got it running last week Fricken fuel pump was bad, the distibuter cost me a $100 bucks at a bone yard, Belive me finding a 90-91 integra with a auto in a junkyard in iowa was a 3 day adventure i must have driven to a thousand junkyards for it!! But the integra runs like a Champ no blue smoke no knocks nuttin!! I can't belive this guy sold that s**t to me for so cheap!! He was a old dude prolly didn't know what he had!! Im gonna register it next week!! I can't Wait!
