91 civic dx help

i have a 91 civic dx and the motor is bad now burning alot of oil and id like to do a swap and so far all ive seen that i liked are a d15b and a b16 and an h22 and looking for the cheapest and easiest swap guy wants 1400 for all h22 stuff and guy wants bout600 for b16 motor and guy wants 400 for just d15b motor

You know you need more than an engine right? Mounts, wire harness, all sensors, ECU, transmission, shift linkage, sensors (if they already aren't on the motor), accessories for the engine you're swapping in (P/S pump, A/C stuff, etc.), etc.

The cheapest and easiest swap would obviously be another D-Series. But it looks like you've got a lot of research to do if you're new to Honda's. At least it sounds like it. Google is your best friend at this point.
