92-95 96-00 console

How hard would it be to install the 96-00 center console. all of it from the arm rest to the cup holder into a 95 hatch...... I was thinking about doing it.

The cup holders bolt onto the metal bottom section of the dash on the '96-'00.

Keep in mind the cup holders are also different on the '96-'98s compared to the '99-'00s.

I'll take some of the middle console apart in awhile if I have time and take pics to show you how it goes together. (I have a '98 for reference.)

thanks that would be great, I just picked up the cupholder shift boot part of a 99-00, I still need the arm rest part but I just want to see how it goes together...

After I PM'ed you, I remembered i have a 95 sedan and a 99-00 center consoles sitting upstairs, I'll take a look at them side by side and see what i can come up with as far as lining up bolts and sizes... i'll snap some pics and shoot you the info..

Hey, sorry I didn't get pics for you of the 6G EX (with the armrest console piece) for you yesterday. I was busy running errands and then tearing apart part of my boyfriend's car (which doesn't have the same rear clip for the tall console since his is a CX with the flat part surrounding the e-brake handle).

You want the armrest console, not he low one, right? The armrest one has a different bracket in the back.

Get the Jdm Audio Console.. and then get little cupholders that attach to your vents.

But yah.. I'm curious to see what it turns out like. Pics when your done, please!

I just got done with the damn console. I ontl have one more piece to install Im just waiting for the fiberglass to dry then I can cut out the piece........ here are 2 pics.
Yes I know my interior is very dirty I will clean it one day... on with the pics
