Ive been searching for turbo kits and i found out that the 92-95 kits are only like $1200 and the ones for 96-00 are like $2200. I know the engines are not the same. but there same size right, 1.6 liters? anyways. does anybody know the real difference between the kits and why it wont fit in the 96-00 set up. Thanks.

i think the 92-95 Kit has a smaller turbo...i think everything fits other than the downpipe leading to the exhaust system being they have different exhausts...

The difference in price prolly has to do with the Greddy EManage (the blue box), i would assume that the change from OBD-I to OBD-II would maybe cost a little more due to the emisions complications with the OBD-II ECU's. Other than that, im pretty sure both kits run the same T-25 snail and the downpipe maybe a little different but im not 100% on that.

If the EManage is the the only difference than just go and get an OBD-II to OBD-I jumper and convert it to OBD-I

the greddy kit for the 5th gen uses a todo4 15g turbo and the 6th gen uses and 18t i believe. as far as useing emanage, you might want to check out www.turbod16.com . I am sure there is a way to get it to work, but as far as i know the map that is programed on emanage is made for the car the kit is for so there might be some complacations. but deff check out turbod16 for more info.
