I have had problems with my civic, and i got a mechanic to come and have a look but he couldnt solve it either. after reading some of the forums i believe its the Carburetors, as it does not start unless the accelerator is fully down. It is a 92 civic EG8 4 door sedan but i cant find any numbers on the carbs to tell when what carb kit to get. it is a Ken hin brand. Does anyone know any numbers if the type of carb.

We need to know what engine you have because in north america where most of the members are from the 92 civic was fuel injected not carbureted. I'm not at all doubting that your civic is carbed but if we know the exact engine we can tell you what other civics to look up, for instance if the 87 civic in the US or UK had the same engine it will be easier for you to look up parts for that since most sites cater to the US market

You said that already.

90% of the members are in the U.S. or areas that didn't have carbs. Your best bet is to find a mechanic local that actually knows what they are doing, or at least knows how to work on your model/type of car.

Is the carb dual barrel? Have you tried cleaning the carb? Have you checked your fuel jets? Is your carb's butterflys opening and closing like they should?
