So I've recently bought my Civic from a next door neighbor, who's let the poor thing sit for a few years untouched. Since I've had it, whenever i'm in first gear and accelerating, it goes from a normal revving sound to a sudden louder noise. As lame an explanation that this is going to be, it goes, brrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRR *shift*, then normal all other gears. There seems to be no rhyme or reason that it does so, other than whenever i go over 2k-2.5k RPMs is when it will start.
Also to tag onto this, it sounds like there's rattling or grinding coming from the under-carriage while casually driving as if i were dragging something. I checked to make sure, and i'm not dragging anything. Should i be worried?
