Sup guys, got most of the kinks out of my D16z6 motor but now the transmission is slipping bad. Im driving a 93 civic ex 2 door. I have a spare D16z6 motor and tranny as well but im about to take that other tranny and put it in. It's been sitting for the past ten years and under 50,000 miles on it. Does anyone have any tips that can be given on the preperation of putting this old transmission in? Ex: you let a motor sit for a long time so you have to replace piston rings, gaskets, ect. What do I need to do to this tranny thats been sitting for ten years before shes elligable to go in so it doesnt blow out?
