93 civic ex z6 auto (ENGINE NOISE)

Every time i start the car and put it in reverse my engine makes a loud noise when its changing to reverse. It feels like its hitting against something when its changing gear. Any ideas with what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated THANKS!!!

Chance are that the noise is from the transmission rather than the engine. Is the ATF low? Is your idle high? Have you checked the engine and transmission mounts?

fluid is fine and my rpms are also fine. Im guessing either the mounts. Noise doesnt sound like it would be the tranny
