93 Honda Del Sol - Code 9&17

I'm new to this forum thing so help me out plz. I drive a 93 Honda del sol auto. My check engine light has been on for some time now and i scanned it and got those to codes( code 9&17). If someone can let me know what those mean and how to fix it, it would be a big help.

Is the engine have ANY performance problems and is the speedometer not working? If not, reset the ECU to clear the codes and forget about them if they don't return.

My speedometer isn't consistent when I'm driving it will go jump around...and the tranny is starting to slip but besides that nothing else.

Do the same codes return after resetting the ECU?
