hello,im new here to clubcivic but i already like it.but my question is my car is lowered on nuespeed race springs 2.25 in the front and 2.5 in the back i think and i just installed some kyb agx shocks. But there is a sound coming from the front of the car not the engine,a rattling of sort.i know its not the suspension or the wheels rubbing so ....does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

check all bolts under the car , also does this sound do it just at bumps or certain speeds, or any certain time ?

Off topic, but a platinum member with 24 posts? Don't do that to yourself. There are people who will bash you mercilessly.

what side of the engine bay does it seem to be coming from?

how do you like those springs? I think I'm getting the same ones but I dont know if it'll be too low.

Do yo ugot anypics of your car? I'd love to see how the drop looks

i took some pics its not very light outside so they arent very good but you can kind of tell what it looks like. With my 17's there is no fender room left and my front or back wheels never rub.As for the springs they are a little stiff but when they are that much of a drop I think any spring will ride a little bumpy.

could be your driver side axle boot<----i think that's what it's called
I had the same problem couple years back and I thought I had to replace my shocks, but it was an axle boot.

awesome, thanks a lot man.... do you think it's too low? does it rub at all?

another thing it might be is the axle seals. I had that and it made a vibrating sound when I accelerated or hit a bump.

Your car is too low for PA. Don't drive into my state without raising it first. It looks good, though. And the highlights in your pic would be awesome against a good backdrop.

Ask someone else to. And while you're at it, do you have any more info about your car?

Looking good! I'm doing the same thing to mine.

I've got the AGXs & some coilovers, just waiting for a warm day to put 'em on. Do you both have 17" wheels? I'm probably getting 16" c8s in white for mine and dropping it 2.5-3"
