95 Civic LX 4D Hood

Hi everybody,


One my friend has 95 civic lx and she involved an accident. The hood damaged and I want to replace the hood with another one from a junkyard. My question, can all 5th generations hoods fit to each other? Sorry in advance if this is a silly question but I am not familiar with Civics.

Sedans are wider. Hood will not look right unless from a sedan.

This is correct. I wrote it wrong when I replied before. The hoods are the same width from fender to fender, but the coupe/hatch hoods are shorter from windshield to bumper. It will bolt on, but won't line up all the way and some have reported latching issues. You will have shortages at the front of the fender where the hood meets right above the headlights and shortage at the rear near the windshield where the hood should meet the back top of the fender.
