95 civic lx questions

ok friday im going to be purchasing a 95 civic lx sedan auto for 500$

its pros: new brakes all around,new cat and exhaust

cons: head gasket went to S*** so the engine got flooded from water, its 1.5,its auto


my plans for this car to start off are to take out the engine and tranny and swap in a b18 and convert to 5-speed. eventually do a 4 wheel disk brake conversion.

i wanted to know how much itll cost for all the parts for bolth swaps alltogether should be around. yes ik itll be expensive so im not lookin for the cheap way out.

You need to Google this stuff and find out for yourself. That's like asking how much does a house cost. It all depends. There are multiple options for everything you're talking about and the price range is huge. Figure out what you want and search, there is no way to answer that question.

A B18 can cost $500 or $5,000. You might be able to do a swap for $2000 but it's going to be pretty low end. You'll need engine, trans, ecu, mounts, wiring harness, axles, etc.
