I have a 95 civic dx d15b7. just bought it september last year. recently been finding little things wrong as time goes by and have a couple question.

1. Oil leaking from distributor/ head. the car has a choppy idle and i think some oil is getting it to it (distributor). I know i need a new one. what else should i look for or replace when doing this.

2. the car has a manual steering rack. I believe it is bad too. i had it aligned a couple time but still pulls to the right. I checked it out the other day and found that the inner/outer tie rods are fine and the seal/bushing on the right side shaft on the rack is bad, i think. is there any one that has a good one or know of a simple way to fix it.

3. my water temp is all messed up. im not for sure whats going on with it. i can tell you that during the winter, i would go let it warm up and then when i would get in i would turn the heater on the 1 or 2 setting and by the time i got a couple blocks away from my house the temp gauge would go right back down to the cold mark. Is this hurting anything? Would a new thermostat fix this? if not what should be done.

Thanks for any and all help in advance. i can give more info if needed to help figure any thing out.

Look for the recent thread where a member replaced the internal oil seal of the distributor. This will be much cheaper than replacing the entire distributor.

Check whether the radiator fan fails to run when the engine is hot.
