Hey guys. i'm in need of some help. So my 95 del sol vtec dohc was running perfectly fine with the exception of a rough idle which i assume is the IACV. I have had it for two weeks and it would start up fine run great until it was nice and warm and then i would have problems with the idle. One day after work i got into it to start it up and it would crank and crank and crank but wouldn't start. I finally figured out that if i pushed the gas pedal in all the way while i was trying to start it that it would eventually fire up. i did this four a couple days and then finally it wouldn't start at all. Even with pressing the gas it wouldn't work. Heres what i have done. I replaced the rotar, the coil, the main relay. i'm getting gas. i sprayed carb cleaner in the throttle body to see if it would start but nothing. i tested a lot of fuses and plugs and so far so good. after all we did to it it still wouldn't start. I finally tried banging on the IACV while my buddy tried to start it and eventually it fired up. Can the IACV cause a no start in this or am i having some other problem? It starts now but i still have to push the gas at the same time. Any help would be great Thanks.
