'95 Ex Speaker Help

Yeah, so I'm pretty new at this whole forum thing, so if I post something wrong dont go buck wild on me. I also just got this car, so again dont go buck wild if I get stuff wrong. Well I just inherited this car from my sister, who blew out the speakers on the right side of the car. Does anybody know what size speakers I should get and what kind are best? I'm not made of money, so I'm really looking for good speakers for a good price. thx

If you're looking for decent speakers and a decent price, I would suggest Infinity Reference series. They are very sensitive speakers, so they will put out a little bit more sound off just headunit power than others. Personally, I prefer Alpine Type-S out of the two choices because they are a little bit of a smoother and more accurate speaker, but they are not as sensitive so you would loose a little bit of volume. Don't waste your money on something like Sony or Pioneer, they are closer to a factory replacement in regards to quality, than an upgrade. Depending on the size you need, the Alpine or Infinity's can usually be had for about 20 more bucks.

I don't remember the 5th gen. size off the top of my head. Check out crutchfield.com. They have a fit guide titled "outfit my vehicle".
