96-00 Power window question

I was looking through ebay and saw one of those aftermarket power window kit. Do they actually work?? They cost around $100ish so I was just wondering if they really worth the money....thanks.

your better off goin OEM. I know ive seen full OEM kitsfor sale on ebay. Pulled straight from the car. All you have to do is look man.

your probly talking about the SPal kits. i had one on my car for awhile. i had them wired to OE switches. it worked, they were OK but i pulled them and went back to manual till i can afford to pickup the OE power's.

what it does is puts a sleve over your window crank and a little motor spins that sleve really fast making the window 'crank down'

how is the conversion from manual to power? is it hard? major mods? any write ups? im kinda wondering about this

the actualy conversion is getting power window regulators and new harnesses...i did it on my hatch, its pretty easy
