96-97 Civic Shop Manual on Ebay

This isn't my auction and I don't know this seller, but I got the same one off Ebay and it's great. I highly recommned everyone to get one if they have the means. Don't get the ones on CD's. You can bring a CD into the garage. Like mine, it only covers 96-97. I don't know why not 98 since it isn't that much different.

There is over 1300 pages that has exploded diagrams and ez to follow. Two thumbsup!

looks good, but he also has a 96-00 for sale in his online shop. i might pick that one up.

how does your manual compare to a helms or chilton??

I have both Chiltons and Honda Service Manual. You can't even compare them. You really need to buy the Honda Manual. The Chiltons is just too generic. I think the Chiltons doens't give you enough info (esp for body parts ie exterior removal and interior removal of parts). The Honda version also has so many exploded diagrams. If you want to change your struts and remove the stock springs, the Honda manual has pics and explains well vs the Chitlons has nothing. I can't compare the Honda vs the Helms since I don't have a Helms, but I heard its a close match. Last time I looked the Helms went for $70.

arent helms and the factory service manuals the same? on the helms manual for my del sol it says honda service manual on the front..

Yes they are, and by the way there's an online version of the 96-98 manual floating around.
