I have a 96 civic dx coupe. im pretty sure. as there is no emblem on the back. it doesnt have power windows or locks. no sunroof. but it does have an a/c button on the dash thats stock and i believe at one point had power steering too. I have a legit clean swap in it. I have a d16z6 motor. my question is i seen somewhere that all you need is a certain mount and the ac system for this car and i can have ac again. Looking for any sorta help here. like i said its already wired for ac. when i push the ac button the green light comes on. just looking to figure out what mount and parts i need to hook it up with the d16z6. Anything helps. Im new to this so if i posted in the wrong spot please someone let me know so i can figure this out. thank you

People will answer if and when they know. Our members aren't a chat line waiting to answer questions. Most have families, jobs, and lives outside of the forum. Some are here a couple times a day, most are daily at best, and a handful are weekly at the least.

Have patience or search through google and the rest of the site and you might actually find out what you are looking for instead of just waiting for a reply that may or may not come.

The high over here in Georgia got to 95 the other day, at almost 70% humidity, and I STILL didn't feel the need to use the ac. Just had the windows down.

I've never been one for AC. But to each his own.

Like you said, to each their own. I totally understand why he wants to get his AC going though. I used mine today and it wasn't but low 80's here. I use the AC because I don't like temps over mid 70s and if I have a way to bring my environment closer to that I will.

Yeah it's just crazy how people adapt to their specific climate. I would die without a heater.. Lol I lose my mind when snow hits the ground. Only happens every few years in Georgia.
