96 honda civic hx

just trying to get my car running my y5 motor just went to s**t so my buddy gave me a y7 block and i got a y8 head so im deciding to do a mini-swap. could anyone give me some help on the engine harness.would i need to re-pin wires move anything? ecu? dizzy? any help would work

Hx is vtec so you should be fine putting in a y8 without doing extra work but you do need a y8 ecu. I would swap the y5 head onto the y7 block if it were me
