I have a 97 civic ex coup 5spd. I just finished a complete engine overhaul on the factory d16y8. Now I want to start planning a significant drivetrane mod. Any ideas? I heard the 6spd 4x4 civic wagovan from 88 to 91 has the same bell housing bolt pattern for all sohc engines. Is this false? Am I persueing a pipe dream? Any constructive critics are welcome. Thanks guys and gals

Well I have a shop and a welder. Plus I'm not married nor do I have kids. So I have some money to spend. I live in cali so the only thing I can uprade with out buy a carb stcker for it is drive trane upgrades. The civic wagovan? Was it called the RS with the 6spd 4x4 trans? I don't know where to start looking for a parts car. All the junk yards around here don't got squat. Any help thanks

Yes sir. A pipe dream. I've already had this dream, purchased all the parts, then sold everything when I moved from Ak. I should have a build thread about it here some place...

Actually, the build is legit. It's the chassy that you have that's the problem.
