97 civic lx d16y7 conversion

is it possible to put a b16 head on a d16y7 block? i need to figure out the cost and what ill need to do the swap. ik ill need an ecu etc, and oil lines for the vtec. i dont know very much about hondas, i used to be into volkswagen and learned very fast that honda is way better. PLEASE HELP this little nonvtec motor has no balls!

and if the b16 head isnt possible what could i do for performance upgrades.

i already have an intake and a greddy evo2 catback exhaust

There are two main kinds of engines that people put into our civics they are B-Series and D-Series. They are not compatible for mixing. I suggest you read for more information. http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=196671

No, B series engines and D series engines don't mix and match, sorry. Gotta stick with the same letter engine
