do not spray them by yourself, coz the color will not match and it will look like s**t.

if you want to shave them, you will need to respray both sides nad will cost def more than 200$.

ive asked some shops how much itd be to shave off the the side moldings and they said like around 400, dunno if thats painted or not. i was thinking about shaving them off myself, i jest need to learn how to properly fill in the side moldings, but if i were to be able to, i'll post up how to or if anyone already knoes, that'd help. but the bondo and sanding should be simple, then just repaint the car.. well i would cause my fenders and front still aint painted -=D

You can shave your moldings and it looks hella clean. It's going to be a process though. You will have to weld a strip in the recessed area the moldings were and have to repaint all the panels that your molding is on. I would just paint the moldings.

yea i guess i'll do the painting..i dot really wanna take the hustle to shave them all off...even though it look really clean..and there is a possiblity that it'll look sluggish cuz i'll take it to a body shop....it all depends on hte person who will do it...on the other hand, matching the body color and dying them seems easier..i'll take it to a bodysop tho..lol

i took mine to a body shop and they said that they couldnt be sprayed, has anyone actually had them sprayed?

shaving them would be a lot of work, and painting them makes the car look good anyway..

what if you got the color touch up paint that matches your car with the clear stuff that makes the paint stick will that work? instead of having to sand and prime and all that junk

No, because that clear stuff is clear coat, and it doesn't make the paint stick. It only protects it. You need to sand it to give the primer something to adhere to. Then you need the primer to make it smooth and to act as an adhesive for the paint. If you skip that then you'll have a nice paint job for all of a month, and then it'll be time to redo.

i guess im not the only one who hates the black plastic stuff..eheh i think it looks really bad unless u go with the carbon fiber hood and s**t like that...and im not into that..mine is red with white rims so black is too much color controversy...what color i can go with the interior?? im thinking of getting white cluster face, and some shift knobs and brake handles..any comments??
