97 civic stock speakers?

Ok......well i wanna put new door speakers in my car, but i dont know what the stock size is. Could someone please tell me this info......im doing a rockford system throughout whole car. Either that, or alpine!

check crutchfield.com they can tell you what your car takes. I don't know offhand.

the new rockford fosgate punch series 6 1/2 WILL NOT fit the doors cuz the design of the cone is too big, i had to return mines because of this reason, i ended up buyin pioneers

Or if the basket isn't too deep you can cut out parts of the door panel to fit it.

i made a whole on my panel but it still would not fit, not even for the 5 1/2 bcuz b4 i got the pioneers i got the 5 1/2 to see if they fit but they still didnt

im doing all alpine type R.....its gonna be SICK! alpine system from head unit to the amp to the subs.......

I don't believe that you have to be brand loyal throughout your system. As long as it's quality, it should sound great.

Thats the only way I got my Alpine 6.5's to fit

I have type R coaxial front and rears and I'll warn you, the fronts are a b***h! Rears, no problem, but the magnets on these things are huge. I had a shop install mine and the factory speaker covers still fit over them (I was amazed). I went to a few shops that said they couldn't do it, so shop around a bit, the type Rs require quite a bit of custom fab. Oh and they sound amazing, I can hear the music perfectly from outside with my windows up from a good distance away 8)
