I want to covert the front end of my 97 ex to an integra or a rsx. Can you guys tell me if any of the parts will bolt up or is there a lot of modification that has to be done. What I mean is if I get the hood, fender, bumper and the headlight will they all just bolt up and fit properly? Thanks for reading and looking forward to all responses.

I would think they will bolt of with little modifications but why wouldnt you buy a Integra or rsx for the front end? I just don't think they look good on a civic IMO.

I do not want to but those cars. I want something different. I have seen an integra front end and it looks great IMO. We are all different and want different things. I love to modify cars with massive fabrication. I am putting a rear end on mine that I have not seen yet. Might just stick with the stock front end.

What about the JDM Acura front end. Is that straight bolt on parts for the front end?

they're not straight bolt ons... the mounting is different, the frames will need to be modified, and some welding/cutting will be needed.

To each his own, personally I think it's too much work and from a different chassis, so i'll keep it on the said chassis. The Acura 1.6 EL / Honda Domani / Isuzu Gemini is basically a 96-00 Civic, so it's an easier swap and is more sensible.

BUT IN THE ABSOLUTE END, ITS WHAT YOU WANT. It's your car, your interest, your money for your satisfaction. Good luck

Check out this thread I partook in regarding front-end swaps and front bumpers if you're interested (Honda-Tech)

JDM Integra front ends look nice on a coupe, but really it won't be easy

Here's a nice -almost bolt on conversion, the Acura 1.6 EL or Honda Domani/Isuzu Gemini

The only bolt on options you would have would be a body kit styled how you want, other than that an Integra USDM or Jdm front end will need radiator support, hood, bumper, fenders and headlights. You will have to drill out all the tack welds on the radiator support and basically cut it off then weld the new one on, after that everything else will bolt up
