97 DX Hatch

Im just now finalizing the purchase of my first civic; a 97 DX hatch. Its got the D16Y7, bone stock but for a ebay looking short ram. Stock suspension, stock everything; a tad under 140k. 2 owners; car seems pretty well treated, definitely never teen-driven or beaten on. Its got a pretty good sounding system; some components and a sub I think. Taking it to the mechanic with the seller for a "pre-purchase inspection" on monday; hoping all checks out.

Seller says the car needs 2 CV joints, approximates the cost at 250-300$

He wants 2700 as is with the sub and a set of nicer rims with summer tires, is this reasonable?

Its got one silver mirror and one black; so thinking my first mods would be black spoon style mirrors (replica) and tint; maybe a spoon rear lip. Looking to move forward with this project at a very slow and deliberate pace.

Here's the car; I'll add more pics to this thread on monday. Let me know what you think

Here's a few crappy pics. I'll take more on Monday when I give the car another once over. Pretty sure I'm definitely buying this; looked up the components in the sound system, they cost a little 0ver 500$ new, and the 15" ls mesh wheels are easily worth 300 with the tires on 'em. Does 2700 really seem high? What have you guys payed to replace a CV joint? Thanks in advance!

It's always nice to talk the seller down a bit. If you like it and it's as clean as it looks, jump on it!
