97 Hatch Gauge Bracket.

so earlier this evening, while changing my gauge bulbs,
the black bezel around the gauges that is supposed to pop off,
didn't....exactly....pop off.

when i pulled it off, it snapped the two interior brackets that the clips pop into.
my question is, can i fix this without buying a whole new dash?

of will it fit flush once i pop it on and screw it back in?

never had this problem but i would have to say it might be loose at the bottom and may squeak a little. are you talking about the little rectangles at the lower right and left in front of the cluster. my suggestion is to try and find them and get something like gorilla glue or JB weld something really strong for plastics and try to glue them back in then take the clips and with some pliers bend the clips in a little so they hold just not as tight so you dont break them again. another option if you dont have the broken off parts you could try to fabricate something in there spot that would hold, even some 3M double sided body molding tape its like 1/2" wide 1/16" thick you could put a small peace in the corners it might hold it down, not certain tho.
