97 hatchback exhaust suggestions

I have a 97 hatchback dx, I would like to wake the engine up a little bit but have no intentions of making it a race car. I just want it to go a little faster and not struggle up hills and of coarse sound better. It already has an intake on it and I was looking to get an exhaust system. I have seen full header to tip systems, catback systems and axle back systems. Any suggestions for a daily driver wanting a little more but at the same time not wanting it to sound cheap and ridiculous?

Also if there are any other things to do to give it a little more please let me know. Thanks

autozone get a $25 muffler and go to a muffler shop and get it welded on you'll hear like your going fast ;) haha

well the muffler alone you can't really get power if you want some serious power boost!

try going with a reputable brand like greddy or apexi. They have good exhaust systems. They will increase a performance a little bit but not bu much
