98 civic car acts up need help asap

Ok I recently got a 98 civic ex 5 speed with 127k og miles I drove it for about a week and I chenged the alternater and better this past friday and later that day I was racing a frend on the high way and when we got off we eaited at a red light we drove off about a mile and my car started acting up the turn signals stoped working then flasher stoped then gage light stoped and then after that as I kept the pedal in the acceleration started to act up it was like it kept trying to stall it didnt wana keep going normaly I need help! could it be that I need new plugs and wires nd a fuel filter? Or could it be the timeing belt? Its never been changed nut plaining to soon its any of these thing my issue or can it be something diffrent all sugestions help thanks

Check your alternator and battery connections. Might of got a faulty alternator from the parts store it does happen.

Ok well could it be the spark plugs n wires?

Do you have any cel codes? It is always a good idea to do a tune up on car you don't know the condition of. Like spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, oil, and oil filter.

Check engine light is on fo the front o2 sensor? Andis it posible it just needs a o2 sensor and a tune up?

Replace the o2 sensor. A good tune up is not gonna hurt anything if you can afford it.

So your saying the o2 sensor and tune up could be whats causing my civic to be acting up like I was saying it was

Yes replace your o2 sensor first. That is your first problem.
