Hey guys whats up, i just bought a 98 civic ex that is bone stock with 186 clicks on er
just started to doing maintenance like my timing belt, water pump, fuel filter, oil change, CAI, new dizzy, plugs, and wires. clear coat is peeling but already have paint in my garage but it has a straight pipe so going with megan drift spec exhaust its on steelies also so i want some wheel suggestions only payed 1500 for it so not really wanting to go crazy. been doing some research on here with different products for it and i really like the dc sports ceramic headers to a resonated test pipe then exhaust listed above but as of right now im throwing a code for a bad upstream o2 sensor that i believe is causing a miss on acceleration between 2 and 3k only when warm. read on here that that could be the complication, any ideas? :?:

welcome. and if it's throwing a code, try that first. test the 02 sensor, see if it's testing within spec. should be an online thread around here of the factory serv manual (think it's in PDF format). May want to check that out, regarding the O2 sensor testing procedures. If the sensor doesn't test per spec, then looks like you'll be buying a new sensor.

Primary/Upstream O2 Sensor probably needs to be changed, I got mine on RockAuto:
www.RockAuto.com

What's your budget on wheels? What do you prefer?
Mesh? Flat spokes? aggressive spokes?
Stick to 15-16 wheels, 17 would be large, 14 would be small.

Check out the link in my sig if you want some ideas

Great i hope that it is not a bad valve seat or guide i work at a dealership and my mechanic thinks its just the o2 sensor but in worst case scenario its a bad valve part as for the wheels the car is going to be flat tan or almond so im thinking a gloss red or black with polished lip rim trying to stay away from xxr's but i have heard mixed things about them. TBH i have always owned audi's but fell in love with my civic 30 mpg+ changes a mans view on a car fast lol
