I really happen to like the wheels, but I today I got the lower side molding painted and Type R lips for front and back and got the Type R grill. I also got a Valve cover from a 95 EX....the honda VTEC cover for my crappy little D16....

why'd u get a valve cover from an older, and different, engine? was tehre something wrong with the stock one?

those lips should look pretty nice. esp with the painted moldings.

Well, there I was doing research on various "dress up's" for the D16 wonder bot, and all I saw was various Tenzo R and Mugen covers....which granted are some what nice, yet....not....no one in their right mind is going to believe that your SOHC is a TYPE R! However, further research showed that the D15 cover and D16 cover are the same size shape and layout, the only difference in the two...for VTEC's is that the D16 never came with VTEC stamped on the cover itself...instead mear "HONDA"....well, I am a big fan of Civics, I have owned one or more for the last 14 years and even more of a fan of their motors. So I found someone who had polished their VTEC cover and bought it off of them...that simple.

paint your side skirts, lose the wheels, get rid of the orange inside the taillights and the headlights and you'll be alright

Well...lets see, I like the wheels so I think I will keep them thanks, I have the headlights on the way and personally I prefer to keep the tail lights just the way they are because JCI "Insurance Inspection in Japan that is Required" requires you to have orange turn lights in the back. Thank you for the responses though, everything is noted...oh and the side skirts are painted.

I really like the tail lights, you have no idea the pain I went through in Japan with my Mustang, those bastards wanted me to alter the tail end....granted this is a 1970 with only 60k miles on it all original, they wanted me to drill in holes and add orange lights just to drive....they wouldn't even give me a tag until I passed JCI, and that was the only thing that didn't pass, so now....I live by the orange light rule...call me silly....no no go ahead...say it!
