98 lx d16y7 intake manifold

i have a 98 sedan with a d16y7
and i don't like how the intake manifold is a vertical feed,

i have a short ram which is for an ex (d16y8 manifold)

how hard would it be to swap on a y8 manifold,
or what would be the best choice,
i could just buy a new short ram(or cai) but i don't like the vertical feed.

what kinda prices am i looking at for a complete y8 manifold ready for swap.
or is this a stupid question, and should i got for the lx aem cai.

but yeah i feel ya, i thought about it then next decided if i was gonna do that might as well do mini me then if that trouble might as well do a B swap.. i dont think the mani alone is really worth messin with IMO..

Just do a Y8 manifold swap (that's what I did... along with the Y8 head as well)... it's pretty easy for just the manifold though the bolt on the underside of the intake manifold is a bia bia to get to. also by doing the Y8 manifold swap it gives you a wider selection of intakes and upper strut bars to choose from.

Y go through all that trouble when you could customize the end pipe to fit your D16y7? soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier than swapin a manifold
