I'm thinking about buying a 98 civic si with a b20 turbo, I just wanna know what everyone thinks
brand new white pearl paint job 17 inch msr rims car has lowering kit tinted back windows b20 high output engine built by constantines forged steel pistons and crank 290 cc injectors aftermarket walboro 550 fuel pump t3 garret turbo on low running 10 pounds of boost
The car has an issue starting and I'm not sure if its due to fuel pump or injectors and it also has no power steering, I was told there's not much room but should be possible to install

Power steering will depend on how the turbo/intake is mounted. My hunch tells me no. Typically the turbo inlet faces right where the power steering would be so unless you have a super short intake filter (possible) it MAY be possible to add power steering. Did the car previously come with it? Is the power steering rack still in the car? You may have to pull the motor to put that in if it's not still there. You could also do a power to manual steering conversion if the rack is still in place which I and many others have done. Gives you a MUCH better feel of the road which you need at higher/quicker speeds. And really.... who needs PS anyway? LOL.. BOOOOOOOST! :thumbs up

And for starting.. How's anyone supposed to help you with that? You haven't given much clues or info regarding what it is or isn't doing. There's hundreds of possibilities. Battery-starter-main relay-fuses-fuel-spark-..... And on and on and on...

MORE INFO and PICS!

apparently its because the fuel pump is to big. when you turn the key the motor just keeps winding over and wont start enless you turn the key back and then try to start again. then it fires up. but could it be the 290cc injectors?

That may be a main relay issue. If you are unsure about what or where the main relay is, I have a link in my sig that will provide a path to all the glorious Honda information available on the web as it is currently at this vary moment. Amazing!
