Cause looks like he over rev the 1.7 and threw the rod cap out the pan. thx's for any help not a lot of tuners floating around where were atand i dont know much about imports. if it were a srt-4 or anything else from ford, dodge,gm i could help

Intake is a pipe with a filter on it. Yes it can fit. Might need to be cut here and there, but should be fine.

Exhaust, no. Suspension, no.

Let us know if you have any other specific examples for this.

gsr is not a 1.7
its a b series to a d series only thing off the top of my head that is direct fit is the tbody and its actually an upgrade since d series tbody is 55 and b series is 60mm: however since its an auto the iacv is in a different place so i dont think it will work at the very least not easily. By the time you got done hacking stuff up to make it fit youd be way better off buying actual parts for the y8.
intake just buy a sri off ebay and buy a Aem dryflow filter
A decent cheap header is the megan racing 4-2-1 can get them for like 120 or so shipped
Exhaust Yonaka is 249 shipped from cc
WIth parts being that cheap to me it wouldnt be worth trying to make things off a b series try and fit the d.

ya its a b17 in the gsr 5spd hatch. Are b17 worth rebuilding. we are going to pull motor and see if the blocks been damaged. cause we are going to part it out if we cant use anything

you didnt say what it came out of is why i said that it wasnt
it wouldnt be worth rebuilding to me honestly, depending on what is wrong with it. If its nothing at all and your just rebuildng to replace some stuff or its an easy fix sure, but if its going to be alot of money put into it i wouldnt because if i remember right aftermarket support and regular parts etc are not the easiest found for it and if found are expensive since its like hondas basterd step child motor.

if the bottom end is gone i would just get a b16/b18/b20 short block and throw the head on it.

I vote part out the teggy and use the proceeds to buy parts for the civic, long live the D! Sorry, but I'm a bit biased, I'm not much of ab-series fan, but, I have my reasons. To each his own. :p
