99 civic ex no power after fog light install

Hi all,

I recently installed a set of ebay fogs on my 1999 civic ex. I only had to make a few connections ,2 gray plugs that clipped into the fog lamp harness, a white and red wire that connected to the battery, 2 grounds, a brown plug that installed into the fuse panel under that dash on the "accessory " port, and the plug that clipped into the fog lamp button. The fog lamps and headlights all worked after my install. but the next day the car had zero electrical power. I tried jumping the car and even had the battery checked and charged the battery. Any idea why im getting no power even when I try jumping the car? the 80a battery fuseable link looked good.

Looked good and are good can be totally different things. I have known fuses to look good that actually aren't. I would recommend testing it to make sure there is power coming and going.

My guess is that you hooked something up wrong and it killed the battery, then you blew the fuse or main relay when trying to jump it.
