So I'm looking to get these type r replica seats and they come with universal sliders attached to them. The guy who is selling them says that they will bolt to most stock seat brackets with minor modification. According to the seller, sometimes you just have to drill a hole in your brackets or the sliders to adapt to the new dimensions . However I want to know if the stock sliders on my 99 lx seats are welded or bolted to the brackets? Has anyone done this type of a swap before?
