99 Hx cvt tranny swap to another D series tranny

i have this 99 civic Hx, d16y5, cvt tranny. lately im having some issues with the tranny, last thing was that i had an accident adn the check engine light up, also the "D" light is blinking. im planning on changiing the tranny for a regular automatic, does any D series automatic trannsmision would fit on my D16Y5?

yes any d16 tranny should fit but i would stick with an ex tranny for the better gearing
