99 Seat into 94 hatch?

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried to put a 99 coupes passenger seat into the driver seat of a 92-95 civic hatchback.
My wife wants to take out her passenger seat so she can put the baby seat in easier and since my seats arnt as nice as those I'd like to put it in. I dont weld but know someone who can. I would think it wouldnt bolt straight in but maybe someone knows.

so you'll have one 6th gen seat in the hatch. I wouldn't do it cuz 6th gen seats really arent that nice and if you weld something then you will probably have issues putting it back in her car when the baby seat isn't an issue anymore.

Yeah a passenger seat on the driver side. Her seats are in better condition than mine. They just feel better than what I'm using.

So I guess its not a direct bolt on?

no not direct, I'm not sure if you can get away with just swapping the rails or not, if you've got the parts just try it. taking out front seats takes 2 minutes so take a look and see what you can do.
