A/C problems. Need advice.

OK guys. My clutch recently fell off my compressor. I bought a known good compressor from a friend. I removed the evaporator and cleaned the fins. I replaced the expansion valve also. Also replaced the accumulator/dryer. Took the car back to my job and did a 30 minute vacuum and recharged the system with 1.37 lbs of refrigerant. The only part I had to guess on was the amount of oil. I added 4 ounces but I'm not certain how much oil was already in the compressor. I meant to measure the oil amount before I installed it.
Anyway, the volume if air is great now. Thanks to an unrestricted evaporator. However, my temperature is only going down to around 80 degrees with ambient air temperature of 90. The compressor is cycling on. My high side pressure is 250 psi, low side at 45 psi. Its not cycling on and off. Just stays on. What could be causing my problem? I don't know very much about a/c systems yet. Just trying to get this done on my own. Thanks guys for any help.

Wish I could help you out man, but I have no idea how the AC system really works.

Bump for visibility, maybe someone will chime in... Good luck on getting this resolved!

Thanks. I know the basics. But I'm not up to speed on diagnostics for a/c.

Is the condenser fan moving enough air? if its not then you will experience higher air temperatures once the ac is on.
Try wetting the condenser with a water hose to simulate rain fall. If it gets noticeably colder inside then you may have a condenser fan problem.

may need to get a new fan motor or add an additional fan in fornt of the condenser

oh and how hard was it to remove the evaporator or at least get to it. Im going to have to do it to mine as soon as I can
